Guirei Japanese Restaurant - Toronto

The service at this restaurant is very attentive, frequently checking in to see if we need anything. However, it was strange that it took a while to receive basic items like soy sauce, water, ginger, and wasabi, as we had to ask for them instead of them being provided with the food. Despite this, the portions and quality of the food and sushi were good, with no fishy taste. I highly recommend trying their spicy scallop rolls. The sushi boat took a while to come out, but the restaurant gave us a tray of spring rolls on the house to make up for the wait. Overall, I would recommend checking out this spot if you're in the area.

The service and food at this restaurant were fantastic. The ingredients were super fresh and even though I initially just picked it out of convenience, I feel very fortunate to have stumbled upon this hidden gem.

My favourite sushi restaurant in Toronto! We come here at least once a month and the food is always incredible. Great value (the couple’s deal in particular , beautiful location, and excellent service. Do yourself a favour and eat on the patio :

Before they have changed owners it was a really delicious place with nice stuff. Now they have this super rude waitress, every time we come there she shows her attitude and you feel unwelcome right away.Quality of rolls is ok, nothing comparable to the previous menu though. Standard cookie cutter. Please hire nicer stuff or train them better

Really good food! A little delayed but oh well. Worth the wait. There's a lot of **** sushi joints around and thankfully this isn't one of them.
