There were three of us at Gordo Ex for a late lunch today. My son had been there before, and recommended that we start with Tequeños, which are melted cheese sticks in a pastry wrapper. I'm always up for melted cheese, and these were tasty. View all feedback.
What jay doesn't like about Gordo Ex Cafe:
The food at this restaurant was satisfactory, but my experience would have been better if I had been informed in advance about the mandatory gratuity, especially since we were just a party of two. View all feedback.
The food was very good!!!However the waitress was not friendly at all.A bit rude at the beginning I must said, like she was on a rush for us to order, which I don’t know why because we were the only table at the restaurant, and she was on her cellphone anyways.I hope she was just having a bad day, because if that’s the way she is, she should not be in this industry.Let’s just say her attitude was not very welcoming. And then on top of that, she added her own tip in the bill when she passed me the machine to pay with my credit card.I guess she knows already that people doesn’t tip her well, and perhaps that’s why she does it.That was very rude! She should know that tips are not obligatory! I mean at least if you are going to do that, have a smile on your face and a better attitude.Next time I’ll just order there through Uber eats, but for sure I will not come back there for dining in.
They messed up my order and didnt even bother to apologize and the Owners were extremely rude and threw the plate on the table as if it was my fault that they messed up an order. 2/10 and wouldnt even bother entering again, Only good thing about this place is the food.
The places is so small When you open the door too enter the restaurants have very weird smell did want order after the anoying smell avoid this places save your money
Food was delicious. We had empanadas, cachapas and beef criollo. It tasted like I was in Venezuela, I will definitely be coming back.Kid-friendliness: My son is very picky but he loved the chicken empanadas and asked me to come back here again. The empanadas are very good and well stuffed.Parking: You can park right in front
I arrived at 3pm on a Tuesday to order 5 arepas for myself and my colleagues, however, the restaurant was closed. The man inside did not even bother to come to the door to give an explanation. I am disappointed that I drove 30 minutes in the rain to try these arepas.
