Was User at Good Fork a mag?
On the downside, the protein options in the dishes could use improvement, as they leaned heavily toward carbohydrates. Additionally, the ambiance felt a bit cramped, with tables placed too closely together.
One important note: this restaurant operates on a first-come, first-served basis, and the wait can be lengthy (around 45 minutes or more if you arrive after 10 AM). The surrounding neighborhood isn’t ideal for st... View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Good Fork:
The host was very rude and even threw a chair when we weren’t using it. The food didn't make the wait worth it and certainly didn't make up for the unprofessional behavior of the staff. View all feedback.
Fantastic restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the pancakes and the chicken sandwich. The chicken was thin, crispy, and incredibly tasty. The pancakes had a wonderful fluffy texture, and I appreciated that instead of a small cup of maple syrup, they provided a whole bottle. A+!
I visited this 'new' location for the first time (having been to their previous spot at Jane and Bloor a few years back). I was sad to find that they no longer serve red velvet pancakes, but I was excited to try something new. The hummus bowl with spiced pita was fantastic! It was packed with delicious ingredients: perfectly roasted Brussels sprouts, pickled onions, cabbage, and a fresh cucumber and tomato salad. We also ordered their seasonal raspberry lemon curd pancakes, which were just okay; the topping was placed on top, and while they did offer extra lemon curd on the side for more flavor, the pancakes themselves were rather flat and bland. The coffee was weak, but not bad. Our server was friendly and attentive. I noticed that the table next to us ordered roasted potatoes, which looked amazing. I will definitely return, but I'll likely stick to their savory dishes next time.
I enjoyed brunch here today. The pistachio dip was fresh and delicious. The standout item was the pita—soft and puffy, although it did cost an extra $3.50 since it was listed as a separate menu item. I loved my Spanish hash; it was hearty, comforting, and had a generous portion. We did have to wait a little for our table. They told us it would be a 30-minute wait, but after taking a short walk outside, we returned in about 15 minutes, and they seated us immediately.

Every dish came highly recommended, but the grilled bacon stood out as truly exceptional, along with the mystery drink. Overall, I rate this place a perfect 5 out of 5 and would highly recommend it!
