I wasn't expecting much, but drawn by the... read more I used this bar/restaurant mainly due to it's location (in the basement of my hotel) and close to The Phoenix Theatre. I wasn't expecting much, but drawn by the reasonable prices I decided to partake. The first night I had brisket burger - very tasty and big chunky fries. The second night I had the grilled steak sandwich - cooked to perfection and very very filling. I have since discovered that Gabbys is part of chain. Don't let this put you off. Good selection of beer and for me, great malt whiskey at a sensible price. I think you might tell I enjoyed it.

I also had a warm goat cheese salad that was to die for! I was really shocked the salad was fresh and GOOD! WOW!. I will definitely visit again. The place wasnt much to look at but ignore that, sample the food.

Incl. walnuts and baby tomatoes was very good. Decent portion. Well priced. Would eat there again if going to Phoenix.
