I can't say that I was... read more I was excited to go here after hearing about an event a group of mine had attended.I heard that the appetizers were amazing and copious. I can't say that I was as enamoured with the food.Pros:1. Ambiance - very lively, great art work (that is for sale) on the walls. Great for parties.2. Decor - loft style, brick walls, 3. Cocktail - the Dark & Stormy is excellent. 4. Corn bread - good, but not better than Harlem's. I didn't care for the dip with corn bread, but if it was with a flatbread, would work.5. Music - was good, but I could hardly hear it because it was very noisy.6. Baked beans - part of my main. Very good.Cons:1. Main - I had the short ribs. Swimming in sauce. The sauce was OK for a few bites, but far too much vinegar for the ribs as a main. Too acid. However, the ribs had meat on them and were tender, well cooked and flavourful. Coleslaw was nothing to write home about.2. Coffee - was cold.3. restaurant - was cold. Seemed to have holes in some of the brick. Fans also circulated outside air but overwhelmingly so. Just a bit too cold at times for me.4. Service - was inconsistent. Our waitress was not overly helpful. Also, our main was brought before we had finished our appetizers. We then had to flag down a waitress for dessert menus and our bill. Waitresses were friendly though. Owner came by to ask how the meal was and check on us.5. Washrooms are upstairs - no elevators, so if you have problems walking, not ideal.Overall, I see this place working well for parties, cocktails and group outings. I would probably go back and try another main though.

My husband and I ordered the beet salad, jerk calamar... read more Attended a birthday party at this restaurant. Despite restaurant being very busy, service was really good. My husband and I ordered the beet salad, jerk calamari (yum!), corn bread , sizzling beef and BBQ ribs. Overall food was good...only criticism ....even though the ribs were succulent and falling off the bone... way too much BBQ sauce, maybe ask for the sauce on the side. Someone at our table ordered salmon and loved it!Entertainment that night was by a trio who imitated Prince and Michael Jackson - great band. Altogether a beautiful night out - great service, good food and wonderful entertainment. Left the restaurant humming to myself. Had a blast!

My wife ordered the Sa... read more My wife and I were invited to this restaurant which has only been around for 6 months and it is a fresh of breath air for that community. My wife ordered the Salmon, and I ordered the rack of lamb. 5 stars for both meals, great serving size, tasty, well prepared and plated. The staff were friendly and courteous and went out of their way to serve us. Congrats to Farley Flex for a great dining location. Great spot to showcase your skills on the Open Mic stage.

We had to wait over 30 minutes just to place our order, and even after ordering our drinks, no one came to pick them up. Additionally, there was no live music on the day that the hostess had advertised it.

Things I would say for Fuse to be at 100% would be to check phone calls more regularly, check email reservations hourly so guests that are arriving don't feel uncomfortable when saying they have booked a table. For a table that was reserved the location was not appropriate to close to the dance floor, hence why we ate in the dark)
