Kavafian was tired of the overly complicated burger scene in Toronto and wanted a simple, fresh hamburger. This led him to open a small burger joint called Fresh Burger near his home in Richmond Hill. The franchise has since grown, with three locations in and around the GTA, including a Church and Wellesley location we visited one quiet afternoon in June. The menu is straightforward, offering burgers and fries with the option to customize your burger and upsize your fries.
