The food is okay. The restaurant is great for convenience, but doesn't provide much further than that[Food] I ordered a big breakfast. It came with eggs, pancakes, toast, bacon, and a ton of potatoes. The size stayed true to its name but the meal quality was unimpressive[Service] I had to wait a while to make my order, but everything else was good[Atmosphere] A staple dinner decor. We were in Toronto for a few days this past weekend and visited Frans on Victoria. Actually, truth be told, we went there every day for breakfast and sat on the outside Patio. Food was really good and service was outstanding. Steven was our server most of the time. He was a refreshing mix of being both attentive and entertaining. We looked forward to seeing him the next day. Highly recommended for breakfast. Best to visit after 9am when Massey Hall and the surrounding buildings provide a little shade from the morning sun.

Came here for our last sh-bang for a Canadian diner experience and they did not disappoint. We all had a great time just enjoying the atmosphere and the food!Their portions are huge! I was lucky I kept myself hungry for it. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy pancakes for all day!

Had a great time at Fran's before the show. Great food, prices and service. Takes you back to the days of your youth.
