**Dining Delights: A New Culinary Experience in Toronto**
This cozy restaurant presents a charming ambiance with beautiful decor, enticing diners with a unique take on their menu. The food is impressive overall, showcasing delightful dishes, though some items, like the dessert and certain seafood options, could use refinement. While the attentive staff makes dining enjoyable, the space feels cramped, particularly during busy hours, which can detract from the experience. Despite these minor drawbacks, the fantastic flavors and vibrant atmosphere make this spot a great choice for friends or a casual date night. Be sure to come hungry and ready to share!.

It was our first time at Florette and we were so impressed by everything! We’ll definitely be back
We had reservations during the “Slow Jams” pop-up where they served Filipino cuisine and it was amazing? We ordered everything they had to offer and each dish did not disappoint. The eggplant and mussels were our favourite along with the coconut cake dessert. Our server was super attentive and she was very friendly. The ambience was nice and great vibes all around. Definitely would recommend and would come back 100%.
Came here with a group of friends and tried everything on the menu! I must say that we were impressed and this new little restaurant has raised the bar for food for us in Toronto. Some of our highlights were: 1. Beets in the ground: it is mind blowing how they made beets taste so delicious! We are usually not fans of beets but we loved everything about this dish. I feel like vegetables are often glanced over on a restaurant’s menu, but this is a must order. It is so refreshing and savory at the same time highly recommend. 2. Roasted cabbage this was also another hidden gem. Usually we wouldn’t really order cabbage at a restaurant but we are so glad we got to try this! This is a must order as well the texture was perfect and the taste profile was also fantastic. 3. Rigatoni if you are a fan of carbone’s famous spicy vodka rigatoni, we’d say this is pretty comparable. It is savory, not too acidic with a hint of spice. Our rigatoni was cooked to perfection al dente and we really have no complaints. 4. Corn pakoras these were delicious as well and I don’t think we’ve had anything like this! Such a great appetizer and addition to your table to share. Honestly, everything else was also really delicious and I’d highly recommend everyone to come with a few friends so can order the whole menu (the menu is not too big so this is totally doable). Aside from the food, the space is intimate hip and it is a great spot for hanging out with friends or even a date night. Also recommend doing everything family style so you get to try a bit of everything!
The food was consistently good overall, but the dessert was a bit disappointing. The decor was lovely, and the atmosphere was cozy; however, the tables were a little too close together, making it difficult to move in and out of the seating areas, which felt a bit cramped.
We were lucky enough to part take the slow jams pop up experience. The food and service were very good but, the tables were absolutely crammed in on top of each other. We sat at 6.45pm to eat and it was slower at that time. I am so happy we did. By the time we left at around 8pm, the restaurant was packed. The tables were situated so close together you were shoving your butt in someone’s face trying to get in and out. The restaurant was also very loud by the time we left. The atmosphere really took away from our overall enjoyment of the experience.

The food was genuinely delightful, and our server provided excellent service! I look forward to returning to sample their regular menu.
Overall, the service was outstanding, and each dish made a strong impression. My group chose the chef's selection, which was a great choice. However, one downside to the experience was not being able to clearly see how any of the dishes looked.
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant, featuring delicious food and attentive, charming, and friendly staff. I would definitely recommend it to anyone seeking an intimate dining atmosphere. It has a relaxed and welcoming vibe while also paying attention to the finer details. I appreciated the space itself—it's cozy and beautifully decorated. The drink and dining menu offers intriguing flavor combinations that are unique but not overwhelming.
