Happened to stumble across this cozy little spot while walking along the danforth the other day... and oh boy I’m glad I did! What was even better then the crisp beer and comforting atmosphere was the warm service of my waitress Madeline. I was welcomed in with a big smile and open arms, making me feel as if I was right at home. I now plan to return to the firkin for not only the delicious food, convenient location, and pleasant ambiance; but for the gracious and attentive service provided by Madeline and her team.

We were traveling from Nova Scotia and wanted a place to eat and have a drink with family. It was a very positive experience from beginning to end. Our server Aiden was very attentive and professional. He made sure we always had what we needed.

Great meatless burger. Staff is super friendly. They went out of their way to host a retirement party for my co-worker.

Went for a glass of wine and salad before a play last night . They had NO white wine in stock. Nada. I ordered the Kale Caesar salad. No kale in stock!. I had the salad with romaine lettuce instead. Very blah. The buffalo cauliflower was tasty but would have been much crispier with the buffalo sauce on the side as it made the batter soggy. The servers were very good.
