Firkin on Danforth - Toronto

"I should have known better..." My wife and I visited this place about 6 months ago. The service was fine but the food was less than average and wasn't served warm. The beer selections were mediocre when you consider how many good beers are available in Toronto. We had a sampling of draughts and they were so watery we didn't even finish them.We should never have gone back. Unfortunately, a visiting family member wanted to try it last week so we trudged back in. There wasn't any appreciable improvement in any way.Next time we listen to the Beatles and stay away.

Went to the Firkin on Danforth for lunch today, and ordered a Greek salad with grilled chicken. The chicken tasted like it was spoiled, the lettuce was past its prime and the tomatoes were mealy. Yuck.

Went there for a drink and a bite, sat at the bar, service was good and friendly, it is more of a family restaurant than adults bar and restaurant- was full of kids and family. Over all it was good. I had fish and chips (replaced my chips with Mashed Potatoes) and it was good.

Came for the beer, found good convo and friendly atmosphere. Recommend. Also stumbled into a free beer A+++

I was at this Firkin pub for a surprise birthday party in the semi-private side room. Everything about the evening was perfect. I wouldn't hesitate to organize an event here. We had about 50 people and the room was the perfect size. The room is at the front of the pub which means there is lots of natural light spilling into the space. Colours are bright and the TVs had the hockey game on. The service & food was on-point.
