Description

Nestled in downtown, EST presents a dining experience that oscillates between high ambition and execution flaws. While brunch guests rave about delightful dishes like banana pancakes and commendable service, dinner patrons often report slow service, uninspired menus, and disjointed plates. Despite standout offerings such as a delicious chocolate cake and impressive tasting menus, many diners express disappointment over high prices paired with inconsistent quality. With a newly revamped menu under a different chef, EST shows promise, yet the experience remains hit-or-miss, leaving some to wonder if the establishment can live up to its name.

This is a fantastic place for a date night! The food was delicious, and I also enjoyed a wonderful cocktail.

We had dinner at this restaurant on October 21st, and it was an outstanding experience. The tasting menu was fantastic and offered excellent value for the price. Our server, whose name I sadly can’t recall, was an Irish woman with red hair. She was absolutely delightful and made us feel incredibly welcome as we celebrated our anniversary. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

I'm glad we returned to this restaurant! We first visited a few years ago and loved it. While there are some changes, the food is still fantastic, and the cocktails are excellent.

This is my second time here. Great food and exception service would definitely go back!

Went in for dinner on a Tuesday, not a lot of people inside. One of the best confit duck I've had in Toronto, with generous portion and very reasonable price tag to it. Would recommend.
