EggSmart, a bustling breakfast spot, draws crowds with its extensive menu and generous portions. Diners celebrate the charm of the venue, especially its scrumptious waffles and hearty four-egg omelettes. However, some reviews reveal service inconsistencies, including inattentive staff and missed orders, notably with toast. While many appreciate the reasonable prices and quick service, others report quality control issues. Despite these drawbacks, the restaurant's popularity remains evident, making it a go-to choice for weekend brunch in the suburbs. With a blend of satisfaction and disappointment, EggSmart embodies the complexities of dining out.

After almost 30 hours of trip from spain I came to trip, and I still had two hours of bus trip to niagara, and the free time I had the oe de breakfast in an emblematic place of toronto, next to the bus terminal, the egg shell, where you can take all the possible varieties of eggs and the staff is super attentive the breakfast carved me of energy for what was left of travel. What Jenisa Juman dislikes about Eggsmart:
Servers had wet cough. No mask was on their face. Servers were not attentive at all. The food presentation on the plate was awful. The server was slamming down the plate when serving. Overall, it was quite a disappointment for this location. View all feedback.
Ordering breakfast is like buying a car todayFirst pay the base price, then add on upgrades/extras.Eggsmart charges .50 cents extra for rye bread toast, so we paid extra for 4 orders, yet none of the toast ever made it into our bagSo typical of food staff, no one cares anymore to check orders before orders go out! Eating easy-over runny yolks without any toast to soak it up sucks...... :

This Eggsmart location is close to where I live, so I was excited to have it be my solid brunch location....but unfortunately I did not have a good experience. We came around 2pm on a Saturday and the restaurant was relatively empty, we were seated by the window. Without going into details, a questionable individual was soon seated next to us, and the smell and noise really affected the atmosphere for us so we asked to be moved. When ordering, they asked if I wanted my eggs benedict to be soft, medium, or hard, and also if we wanted our home fries well-done or deep-fried, so we appreciated the customization. When our food came and halfway through finishing, I discovered a sizeable chunk of black fluff in my bacon. We told the waiter who checked with the kitchen staff, and were told it was residue that had fallen down from the stove hood...they offered to make me the dish again, and I said they could just make half the dish since I had already finished half of mine. I was a little disappointed when the bill came to see they had still charged us the full amount for the meal, despite the mishap that totally disrupted the eating experience.I really wanted to like this place : but given everything that went wrong I cannot come back. The service was also mediocre, I felt the waiter did everything he needed to, but was generally not very attentive or warm not even when we found the fluff in my dish), potentially because it was off-peak hours and he was pre-occupied with cleaning or other duties.
After nearly 30 hours of travel from Spain, I arrived in Toronto, with still two hours of bus journey ahead of me to Niagara Falls. I spent my one free hour having breakfast at a iconic spot in Toronto, EggSmart, right next to the bus terminal. They offer a wide variety of egg dishes and the staff is incredibly attentive. The breakfast gave me the energy I needed for the rest of my journey.
2016/10/08<br/ This location of Eggsmart was pretty busy on Saturday at lunchtime. In spite of being busy, we were able to get a seat immediately, and our server was efficient enough to look after us (and his other customers) in a timely manner. <br/ <br/ Both of us ordered wraps. SWBMO chose the Southwest Chicken Wrap with Home Fries. The wrap was fine, but she wasn 't too thrilled with the potatoes. The potatoes had been boiled, seasoned, and barely fried. Most home fries have a bit of crispness on the outside due to caramelization, but these did not. <br/ <br/ I had the Southwest Burrito and the 'Jersey ' fries. Good combination of egg, cheese, bacon, green pepper, black beans, corn and sauce. The fries were pretty good, the kind that are double deep fried, with a nice crispy exterior.
