Was Anonym at Dim Sum Queen a mag?
Dim Sum Queen is a straightforward spot specializing in Cantonese cuisine. We tried the Beijing Duck with pancakes along with several other dishes. Our only issue was that the pancakes were a bit too soggy and tended to stick together. Aside from that, everything else was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant for tasty food at a great value. View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about Dim Sum Queen:
I recently tried the menu at Dim Sum Queen and was disappointed with the quality of the dim sum. The shrimp flour roll was mostly flour with very little shrimp, which was not what I expected. The beef and paprika in the black bean sauce ho-fun was overly salty and seemed to contain too much MSG, with very little beef given the price. For anyone seeking good quality dim sum or trying it for the first time, there are d... View all feedback.

Solid dim sum place that is great given the area. We passed on the tea as they do charge you for it when it was initially offered. Lots of seating and all the servers were super welcoming and friendly. The spare ribs with black bean and rice was definitely one of the better ones I have had in general. The bbq pork buns were also very nice sweet and fluffy. All the other dishes were quite tasty, the beef rice roll was my least favourite as it was a touch bland and under seasoned. Overall would definitely go back if I was in the area and craving dim sum. There is also lots of street parking around the are as well.

I had recently ordered takeout from this restaurant and it was low-to-mid at best quality dim sum... The shrimp flour roll was like 95% flour and only 1 small chunk of shrimp inside... (For those that never had this dish before, it 's supposed to be a thin wrap essentially with meat inside), the ratio was off. The beef and peppers in black bean sauce ho-fun was too salty and toomuch MSG... very little beef for the price it 's charging. There are definitely better dim sum options for anyone looking to tryit for the first time ever; or anyone else that is craving decent dim sum.

Dim Sum Queen is a no frills place for Cantonese food. We had ordered the Peking Duck with the pancakes and a variety of other dishes. The only complaint is that the pancakes were too wet and stuck together. Otherwise, the other dishes were excellent. Irecommend this place for tasty and affordable food in the area.

This was my second time at Dim Sum Queen and the quality of food and service has diminished greatly. When I first arrived, the server asked if I wanted tea or water. I said water and she gave me a tea pot filled with hot water. I was surprised but thoughtit was customary. Later on, I saw a couple groups of people come in and they asked for water, and received glasses with jugsfilled with room temp water. I was confused why I got different treatment, but moved on. When our food arrived, my frienddropped a dumpling because of the slippery and bigger chopsticks. I asked if it was possible to get a single Shu Mai and thelady said no. I said it was fine and I would just cut the last piece in half. The lady asked if I wanted her to pick up thedumpling, wash it, and have her re-steam it.... I think that says A LOT about the restaurant!! Absolutely disgusting! I thoughtlater that this must be a usual thing for them to do in the back!! Lastly, the first time I went was before COVID so thereweren't as many Uber orders to attend to, but yesterday the machine wouldn't stop ringing and the server literally sprinted backand forth from the kitchen to the front at least 4-5 times! I was shocked to see how she was handling the packaged food withsuch lack of care. Overall the food lacked flavour compared to other dim sum restaurants, but they tried compensating withlarger sized pieces. Still, the service is what made me not want to come back to this restaurant again.

Omg stay away from this place. Big red flag when my GF and I went on a Saturday afternoon and the place was dead. Nearly everything tasted bland or sickening like it was about to go bad. The curry cuttlefish (the menu said octopus) was sour and thecurry tasted diluted with a hint of some kind of dish soap. The pork and chicken Sui Mai tasted soo off, like it was about tospoil. The only 2 decent dishes were the pan fried shrimp and chives dumplings and the crab ball. The rice rolls were verydoughy and undercooked. We couldn't finish the meal afraid that we might get sick from the old/spoiled dishes. What a waste ofmoney, we had to go elsewhere to eat a proper meal and leave most of our dishes unfinished.
