The crust was just right, not too thin nor thick.... read more We ordered pizza for pick-up, the only downside was that you have to pay cash! (Yes, even with online order). The crust was just right, not too thin nor thick. The ingredients tasted real and delicious. We ate the whole pizza and it was yummy. It was the house special pizza. The owners were actually on site working in the kitchen, lovely place. I would go back here in a flash next time in Toronto!! Highly recommend.

It... read more Recently ordered a Hawaiian pizza to try based on previous readers reviews and from friends comments. The place is nice inside and customer service was good. Its take out only and no seating that I could see. The issue I had was that I feel the pizza dough was a bit on the chewy side for me and my family felt the same way. Not sure If I just got a bad batch of dough or if all their pizza's are cooked the same. The toppings were good, but the dough not so much in my opinion. We paid $28 for a large and I thought that it was just a pit pricey as well. Oh..also its CASH only.

We are b... read more I would rate Danforth Pizza House even higher than this if I could. Quite simply this is the best pizza my husband and I have ordered in recent memory. We are both pizza lovers and with COVID limiting our ability to go out, we’ve hit most of the places on Toronto’s Best Pizzas lists and agree this place is on top. Prices are higher than your standard Pizza Pizza, Pizza Nova, etc. but are in line with the higher end pizza joints. We scheduled an order for a Friday night with UberEats and everything went smoothly. We tried: The Sam’s 1962 Hawaiian The Margherita Garlic Dip (VERY garlicky and delicious) Can’t wait until our next pizza night!

Danforth Pizza house has been an institution for 50 years. after longtime owner and founder Angelo passed away family friends took over the business. Nothing has changed except a renovated charming gentle makeover has only improved the atmosphere . Even Angelo 's photo sits on the counter by the cash, the original cash register and the original sign stands at the back so fellow patrons can remember the beginnings that paved the way for a cozy warmth all around feeling that the late owner would have truly appreciated as his Legacy lives on. . Yes my friends, the moment you walk into this establishment the aroma of tomato sauce and cheese and every imaginable combinations tickle your senses as you feel this euphoric feeling of happiness all around. Being a foody myself I truly am very particular about my pizza, having grown up with an Italian Mother who made her own pizza from scratch . I am in Heaven every time I enter this magical pizza Oasis. It 's not only the most delicious ,delectable ,pizza, that I have enjoyed over the years in this City ,but it 's the wonderful caring and love that goes into each and every one of their Pizzas. I really enjoy watching them make the pizza right before our eyes as you can observe how every fresh and delicious ingredient is combined with every different combination. I have to admit I 'm a bit of a 'purist ' so whenever I arrive the owners always know my name and they know what I like pepperoni, cheese extra sauce well done magnificent every time! Sometimes I like to add to my order , their famous Greek salad, so fresh and crispy with Greek olives and feta cheese truly indulgent but delicious! I never feel guilty, just happy! I have to tell you friends especially during these challenging times treat yourself to a real Pizza and you will find your taste buds will be dancing and your experience will be rewarding. ciao! ciao!
