Daddyo's Pasta & Salads - Toronto

The store is conveniently located near the Athletic Centre and Robarts Library at the University of Toronto._I went on a Saturday noon for take-out.

I walk pass this place almost daily on my way to class, or to Robarts, and I never thought to go in until today.

While I really like this place, it sometimes depends on who's making your food.

Stopped in with my vegan daughter for a late lunch between UToronto campus tours. Pasta/sauce was good, and she enjoyed her vegan veggie salad/pita. Very casual- you order at counter and they bring it to your table. Guy at counter was eager to point out vegan options (which included the bread with my pasta). Affordable and quick; and right on edge of campus.

Good Food Fast is their motto and I most certainly agree. Food was hot, fresh and so tasty. Jeffery, the owner was on hand, friendly and so helpful in recommending the perfect pasta dishes based on my likes.A creamy Carbonara was my choice and it was absolutely delicious. Salads and meals come in two sizes and are so reasonably priced. Decadent desserts . . . brownies, Cheesecake and ice cream sundaes...will have to wait for my next trip to sample as I was too full after my pasta entrée. They cater too. Groups up to 1,000 people. Pasta and Salads trays are also available.Go there, you will enjoy!!!
