Had such a great experience with Cold Tea this weekend. Not sure about the other reviews but I had booked booths/bottle service for my birthday and had no issues at all. Huge shout out to our host Veronica who did an amazing job. Her service was on point, flexible and understood everything we needed. We had no issues accessing the washrooms downstairs. The food for purchase during the event was better than what I could have bought elsewhere on the street! The overall vibe was perfect and all staff were nice, friendly and did not come off pretentious in any way. Thanks again!
If you're gunna go here. Make sure you check your bill, as the servers will not tell you auto grad is included or they will tell you that the price doesn't include tip so you tip on top. The bouncer there also needs to get fired. How you gunna count us in as we had a booth, and if we go outside you're not gunna let us back in and CLAIM you said there's no in and out privileges and accuse one of us of cutting the line when we had a STAMP also. First off if there is no in and out then TELL us before we go in and don't act like you didn't just count us into the place. Terrible service for ppl celebrating birthdays and purchasing a booth.
The vibe is good in this place. You need new DJs…. Why am I hearing songs from 2016 instead of new music. Every time I go it’s the same exact music. Please play new songs.
I used to be a fan of the OG Kensington location, however I recently went to this Queen St. Location and was completely disgusted and disappointed in the overall Service and experience.The other times I have also gone for a birthday the music has always been mediocre but my most recent experience for a friends birthday is why I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO CELEBRATE ANY BIRTHDAY.After telling the party guests that only a few could get in for free , the rest of the guests would be forced to pay for cover. This isn 't a big deal; however it would have been nice to be notified before hand in order to tell the guests ahead of time.Next thing, was for some reason all their drinking glasses and shot glasses had chips and sharp edges on them. When we notified one of the workers, they switched out the glass with yet another chipped glass and didn 't apologize or say anything else. Later on, my friend actually ended up injuring himself due to the broken glass. When these issues were brought up to the manager, my friends were gaslit and blamed for the reason why the glasses could have been chipped/broken which was absolutely false. Because of the DISGUSTING and RUDE service; we decided to leave early, and when doing so the bouncer pushed back my other friend in intimidation to keep her from leaving.You can find other similar bars in the city that have better music/DJ, a better vibe and crowd and WAY BETTER service.
My sister planned for a bday celebration a special surprise for her bf. Booked a booth and bottles. Despite planning and spending money, this place service was beyond terrible. Rude staff, unwelcoming, not responsive. The staff was so rude that they ruined the bday surprise. They also served her table broken glasses and could not care to apologize. The broken glass cut her bf finger, ending the night with him injured and in pain. The establishment refused to take accountability or apologize. Tried to intimidate the group so they wouldn’t leave (trying to convince that it wasn’t their fault). WILL NEVER EVER GO HERE AGAIN. Do not recommend.
