We had dinner here. The food was great, there were a LOT of choices, and our meals were beautifully prepared. Our server was excellent. The prices were reasonable for the quality of the food. View all feedback.

My family and I had lunch at this location on a Thursday. The restaurant was not busy at all. We were seated quickly, and ordered our meals. Thank goodness they offered us complimentary bread as we had to wait 40 minutes for only 3 simple pasta dishes. The waitress kept saying our mains were on their way, but when? We were not happy and dishes arrived cold. For Thursday afternoon, and the place not being busy, this was awful! We ate our meal. which was okay, portions were small, however the happy ending to this bad experience is we were offered complimentary dessert for the long wait. Would I recommend this location? Not really. Not the Italian cuisine experience I expected.
Decent surroundings, but a bit on the noisy side. Had to move tables to be able to hear ourselves talking! The service was good and attentive without being overbearing. Given the pricing I'd say the food was average ++ to good. Actual cost was just a tad under $100 per person inc a cocktail each and two bottles of wine between 5 of us and with no dessert.Fromage & cold cuts starter platter excellent for sharing and the mozzarella tomato salad as a starter is too much for one. Mains were Ok without being anything special.Would I go back? Yes, but it wouldn't be at the top of my list.
... got perfectly nice service. Isn't always the case. Waiter was pleasant without hovering. Ahi was perfectly cooked. Very good wine selection.
Have been to Cibo several times and always had a good experience except for this time!Ordered two Negroni's and was charged $42!!! Pretty ridiculous...Bartenders are over charging to make a quick buck!!The Orrecetti pasta with sausage and rapini, was dry and had exactly 4 pcs of rapini ( very tiny pcs. btw)and two much sausage...a better balance of greens and meat should be expected!
My gf wanted to have her birthday at Cibo in Yorkville. She frequents the other location in Toronto but since we were staying at the Hazelton, she chose this place. All I can say is that we will never be back because the food quality was low and customer service was non existent. Don't waste your time.
