My girlfriend and I dined here for the first time. From the moment we arrived until the moment we paid for our meals we were impressed with the overall experience. The restaurant does specialize in seafood and it does not disappoint.
Had supper last night with a group of friends and everyone agreed the food was amazing. Fine dining at its best. Portuguese style seafood dishes from the appetizers to the main courses. All freshly caught sustainable fish. Delicious flavored that burst in your mouth.
Business party of 9 and all were giving Chiado a 10! This seafood-centric quaint, a bit rustic place offers great dishes including some fish species not commonly found very often.I had the Nova Scotia Lobster in risotto that was superb. Many of our guests had a really creative 3 small plates that add up a to great meal. 3 small and different fish dishes served on the correct accompaniment together of different flavors looked amazing! And all served with great attention to detail, wine and drinks. Make this a place to stop by for high-end seafood while in Toronto.
We celebrated our anniversary here and everything was perfect! We are seafood lovers so we were very excited about the options on the menu. The server showed us different fresh fish that were available that night and explained how each would be cooked in great details. We ordered pan seared black scabbard fillet with risotto and the dry seafood soup with lobster and clams. Both were amazing!! The service was exceptional and we really enjoyed our night.
