I went to this restaurant for dinner on a Thursday and enjoyed the $23.99 all-you-can-eat option. It's the only place around that offers both Korean BBQ and sushi (although the sushi selection is limited), but the food was still really delicious! The service was excellent as well.
Food alone would receive a rating of 3.5 stars, but overall we would give this restaurant 4 stars. We decided to dine here because we were craving all-you-can-eat (AYCE) and something hot, but we were surprised by the high cost of the AYCE option.
Weekend prices here are $25.99 and they include gratuity in the bill. A Saturday night for two came up to $70 which would be ok if the meat was fantastic but it was just decent. I prefer Korean Grill House's marinade to Chako's. I find Chako's meats to be fattier and not as well seasoned. At this location they gave us more meat than we ordered which we did not notice until it was too late, but of course had to cook and eat because they charge $5 per leftover dish of meat so be careful with that! Sushi selection is sparse but that's not what you really go to Chako for. All in all it's a decent place but again, prefer KGH.
I made a reservation for a party of 6 adults and 1 child. The servers efficiently seated us at our table upon our arrival.
Friend greeters. We were seated fast. Gave us a private room for our party of 12. They add a 12 percent tip in for parties. Pricey since kids are $20 for dinner ( even 5, 6 and 7 year olds). Loved the quality of meats and variety.Beef ( 2 kinds), beef short ribs, lamb, chicken, white basa fish, salmon, shrimp, mussels, pineapples, Mushrooms, green peppers, ectDessert is limited to green tea ice cream, mango ice cream , mango pudding and one other pudding. Sashimi, taco and sushi available too. Make sure you ask for extra thongs for hot n cold food. They do change the grilling plate at your request. Smoky smell is strong. Staff are friendly and do nicely ask for added tips if you are happy with service and want to at your choice.
