Carmen's tapas and paellas are just WOW. Infused with spices, flavors and love, they deliver a dining experience that triggers the mind and senses. Carmen is tasty, visual and truly delightful in every bite, sip, look and noise. What User doesn't like about Carmen:
I pre-booked for six people and paid in advance.I don't know if it was because they got my money, but the service was just lousy. The amount of food was incredibly surprising... in a bad way. It barely fed two people, much less six.I talked to them about it afterwards, and they agreed to rectify it. Except after contacting them over and over and over again, nothing was ever done.Very disappointing. View all feedback.
My group of 5 ordered 1 paella and then proceeded to try more than half of the tapas options. Everything was excellent...service, flavors, atmosphere...I suggest going with a group of 4 or more so you can sample all the incredible tapas dishes. We will definitely return when we are in the city again. Thank you!!!
Never disappoint....the food have always been amazing each time we visit. Thanks Carmen. See you again.

Carmen is tasty, visual and truly delightful in every bite, sip, look and noise. My first encounter with the barmen resulted in a hilarious exchange, where I was called "international" for my desperate attempts to book a table from my Dubai number.
We chose Carmen because they were featured in the Tapas Journey where they promoted 3 tapas dishes along with a beer for $20. We had that as a starter and then added a few more dishes. The artichokes were delicious and a great share plate, the angel hair pasta with rabbit and snails was delicious, and the sardines are something to go back for!!! We also had the featured dessert (suggested by our server), frozen goat cheese yogurt with fruit and almond brittle was amazing! The decor and atmosphere in the restaurant was beautiful and the service was great! I'll definitely be back to try the paella!!
It was a hot summer evening and the restaurant was virtually empty. We took a few steps to the back of the restaurant and the patio was exploding with energy. Animated conversation over tapas and wine. The menu consists of traditional tapas, special house tapas and a few paellas. We selected five tapas. We had grilled shrimp, jicama stuffed with puréed avocado, patatas bravas, pan tomate and fried artichokes. They were uniformly well prepared, nicely presented and exploding with flavour. There were no dogs in our selections.Along with a bottle of txakoli (that slightly sparkling Spanish white wine) our total bill was $141 before tip.We had the opportunity to meet the owner and she was a delight. Make your way to Carmen's and save the expense of a flight to Spain.
