ByMark, once a beloved spot, has seen a decline in quality and service. Dishes like lobster poutine and duck breast were disappointing. However, dessert was a highlight. Some customers complain of overpricing and under-delivery. On the other hand, there are positive reviews praising the upscale ambiance and quality of food. Customers highlighted delicious cocktails, fresh oysters, and creative desserts. The staff received positive feedback for their attentiveness and knowledge. It seems that ByMark's reputation is mixed, with some diners pleased with their experience and others left wanting more.

To think we almost didn’t come to this restaurant because we had a hard time finding it! Very glad we went. The Straight Outta Malibu is the perfect cocktail for those who love a yum, sweet kick! Both meats were cooked to perfection as requested. Very juicy and flavourful! The duck dish was also presented so beautifully! Last shoutout goes to the Brussels! It looked a bit small at first but it was perfect. Great refr... View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Bymark:
Even with the nice location and ambiance, the food doesn’t justify the price. The shrimp pasta and the green salad was good but the meatball pasta was way too salty and the wagyu dumpling was very disappointing. Any frozen dumpling from tnt would taste better. The service was okay, though it could have been a bit more attentive. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $60–70 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5 View all feedback.
You guys have meat to try. a delicious steak, tender, tasty. the place is central, expensive, frequented by very people in.
I had no expectations prior to having lunch here. (Just saw the nice looking patio/outdoor dining area so dropped by with my friend). Despite the other reviewers noting incredibly friendly servers, the ones that tended to my needs were rather abrupt and dismissive. (Not unpleasant, but not entirely engaged either. (It was rush hour so I'll cut them some slack. Service was also somewhat on the slow side (again maybe because it was lunch time/rush hour)) I had a burger that was essentially $40 (with fries and 2 dips). That was the most expensive burger I have ever eaten in my life. (It cost more than some of the steak offerings) That said, it tasted really good. (like say $25 - $30 good...not $40 good!) The fries tasted like well...standard restaurant fries. (Neither good nor bad really. Satisfactory)The decor was definitely up to snuff. I dined during the lunch hour, so it was a bit busy. It looks really nice outdoors, especially during the summer. The indoors looked rather nice as well. That said, the experience on the whole was less than memorable. I wouldn't go out of my way to dine here again, especially when factoring in the food and overall service. If I was to eat here again, it would be more for the convenient location and really nice patio.
Sat with a group in a private room and the server came in and out of another set of doors within the private room which i think might've even been connected directly to the kitchen. he would pop in and out quickly, and was always around ready to serve and kept everyone's water refilled. had the red snapper & shrimp ceviche, grilled octopus & calamari, and duck liver parfait as appetizers and they were all excellent had the 1855 black angus steak frites for main and it was amazing had the coconut, lemon, and strawberry ices for dessert and it was literally the best thing ever. for only $3 each flavor scoop i expected just shaved ice or something, but it was more like a a special texture version of frozen yogurt but super fruity and actually contain pieces of coconut.

Usually a great experience, possibly short-staffed so service was a little inconsistent. Food always great. Great location
