What Eusebio Murphy doesn't like about Bravi Ristorante:
I had a series of good meals in bravi, but on Monday my colleague and I were so disappointed that we went without order, as we came into us noticed that it was quite hot in the restaurant. we asked about their air conditioning and they said they wouldn't turn it on. the temperature in the restaurant was about 80 deg f (25 c,) too hot to enjoy us. the menu was on a single sheet paper, not what I had experienced in pas... "This Italian restaurant is fantastic. The food is beautifully presented and has an authentic Italian taste. The chicken was particularly delicious and perfectly cooked. The Tiramisu dessert was outstanding. Overall, I would rate the food 4.5 out of 5. The service was also excellent, earning a 4.5 out of 5 rating. The approximate cost for two people is CAD 90 to 110, excluding alcohol."

On late Saturday afternoon in January, after visiting St. Lawrence Market, I and my son Mark [hidden link] discovered Bravi Ristorante in the area. It was around 4:30 pm and they were not opening until 5:30, however someone noticed us at the window and came to tell us to come back after 5 and they would open for us. So we went across the street and had a drink at the Flat iron Firkin and came back to Bravi for dinner. The inside is quite classy yet warm and spacious. There are a couple of wine walls dividing areas within the restaurant. We decided to try their house Merlot, and it was smooth and delicious. Before we were finished looking at the menu a wonderful basket of fresh crisp bread and warmed olives arrived accompanied by a complex olive oil dip. Yum.
I have visited this restaurant multiple times over the years and it has never failed to impress me. The food is consistently fresh and almost every dish I have tried here has been delicious. While I have dined at many restaurants in the financial district that are in the same price range, they often lack true flavors and creativity. Today, I had lunch with a business partner and we enjoyed the grilled calamari with caramelized onions, which was good (though the lemon butter version is fantastic!). I ordered the butternut squash ravioli, which was the best I have ever had - sweet, creamy, and absolutely delicious. My colleague had the special of the day, beef tenderloin with pasta, and both dishes were excellent. The service is always exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff. When craving a quality Italian meal, Bravi is always my top choice. Despite dining at many upscale restaurants in the downtown area, Bravi remains my favorite due to its incredible food and service.
Went to Bravi on August 8, 2017 for my birthday as I have done for the past 7 years. It was fabulous as always. This is the first time I had a different waiter. The female this time was also very accommodating. I ordered the Cornish hen. OMG it was out of this world! The best I've ever had! (Sorry Mom). My partner had no problem asking for a substitution for his delicious meal. I wish the elevator table was still operational but the nook that we have since reserved every year is very romantic also. We'll be back next year!
