Great food, prices are very steep now though. Not sure it's worth it at the new prices.
This restaurant serves incredibly bland and watered-down food that is far from enjoyable. Many customers have shared similar disappointing experiences, likening the meals to something you would find in a forced labor camp. Instead of settling for subpar food, I recommend heading just 2 blocks down to PAI at 18 Duncan St. for some delicious and authentic Thai cuisine.
I haven't been to the original Salad King on Yonge St in years, but the one on Queen St is roomy, with subtle lighting and a relaxed atmosphere. The Thai cuisine is still excellent as ever.
Disappointing. Diet Coke tasted/smelled like dirty dishwater residue left on the glass. The mango salad was drenched in sweet mango sauce, the green curry was brown and the beef was unchewable. The wonton soup was just ok.
