Was Alexus Macdonald at Bloom Restaurant a mag?
We were looking for a place that was nearby and had paella Bloom was the closest to us so we decided to try it out. We were not disappointed! The paella was amazing, the seafood, rice and meat were all cooked to perfection. Rice was not mushy (most places we've tried were like this) and the seafood was not overcooked. HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting the PURPLE CALAMARI. Will definitely be trying Bloom again, if you're in th... View all feedback.

What lilihrha dislikes about Bloom Restaurant:
Four years later I have tried Bloom again during Summerlicious. All servings are minuscule. The salad was tasty enough but the greens were limp. The fish was delicious and perfectly cooked as were the green beans. Beers at $7.50 are the smallest size available, about 323 ml. Establishments nearby sell full pints of Stella for less. Dessert was so tiny that it’s difficult to assess it, but my two tiny bites were tasty... View all feedback.

The Spanish platter is a great introduction to Boom Restaurant's menu selection. It includes two seafood ceviche shots, chicken croquettes, one of each beef chicken empanadas as appetizers and seafood protein paella as main. For two, we were really stuffed otherwise we would of ordered dessert as well. Food was refreshing and delicious. Will come again to support or local small business.

This was a lovely meal. The service was attentive and the atmosphere very welcoming. My wife and I had previously visited Argentina at some length and so we have experience with the cuisine and such. The wonderful asato plotter we had was really really delicious. And the appetizers lovely and chocolate cake tasty.

First time ordering from Bloom. It was a mixed bag. Cod cakes were excellent. Fluffy inside and a thin crispy batter. Nicely seasoned with a small tomato salad as garnish. But the reason we wanted to try Bloom was they have paella. Nice portion that two could easily share. But we didn't even finish it. The mussells were oddly salty and the only flavour we could taste in the rice was that of the sausage. The sausage was tough. The shrimp and the few lonely scallops were fine and the calamari was tough as well. Oh well.
