What Maverick Stracke doesn't like about Bhoj:
restaurant atmosphere is terrible, heater is loud and does not work well, bathroom is a müll, food is not well made. Avoid.. there are many other good..the people must like it for the trip out, but I wouldn't enjoy it! View all feedback.
Bhoj has become our local go to whenever we want a yummy Indian meal. We have already been there 6 or 7 times and enjoy the cozy, intimate atmosphere. It 's like walking into someone 's home and smelling the aroma as you enter. We 're working our...way through the menu and so far our favourites are Mulligatawny soup (the best ANYWHERE), Samosas, Lamb Roganjosh, Vegetable Biryani, Aloo Gobi and of course hot, fresh Nan out of the Tandoori oven. You won 't be disappointed. Prices are excellent for the portion size. Staff are so friendly and welcoming, particularly Sindhu and Sunny.
Nice family restaurant. Very friendly and efficient service. Food was good with the shared kebabs a good start. I have had better but not in Canada so full makes here. The curry was ok but could have done with a bit more of a kick...too it. Decent value and very filling. You will enjoy it!
A bit of a hole in the wall off the path Indian Restaurant Decor not the nicest but staff friendly and the food was amazing. Medium is very spicy though.
Indian restaurants are a dime a dozen in Toronto. Difficult to find really good Indian restaurants. This is one of them- nice. Food is varied- Tandoori dishes are limited to chicken and as such limited taste adventures. Vegetarian dishes are very good. Meat dish curries...with gravy are very good too. Breads are excellent. Rice dishes are about average. All in all, to revive this place from a not so good a location spot, to its current traffic is commendable work and confidence by the chef/owner of this restaurant. Service was great- Thank you to a part time worker and student- Sidhu. If you can't visit get a take out or have food delivered.
The food is amazing with finger licking flavor and taste. The food is fresh and promptly prepared for consumption. Lamb and Goat Curries are my favorite. Great options for vegetable dishes too. My favorite is Cauliflower and Okra. Small yet cozy atmosphere is comforting. Thanks...to Kailash, the Chef, for an amazing experience every time I visit.
