Beast Restaurant - Toronto
Beast Restaurant
Description
This Toronto restaurant with a 4.5-star rating left diners disappointed, with ordinary food and slow service. Others found it overrated and unwelcoming. However, some praised the delicious food and friendly service, recommending the oysters and brunch. A standout experience included bone marrow French toast and exceptional service from Brandon. The eclectic menu, changing atmosphere, and unique dishes like burrata with garlic knots and toffee bread pudding were highlights for other visitors. Despite mixed reviews, the diverse options, warm welcomes, and standout dishes like gnocchi poutine and mushroom pistachio pizza made it a memorable experience for many.

Great food, awesome 80's music and staff that care. Really enjoyed my time here. It is also one of the few reasonable options near the trendy Queen West.
Yes worth the half hour wait. The eggs benny were fantastic, the fried pickles are cut like chips and were very good, the gnocchi poutine was delicious. And you must have the donuts very good.
Food was delicious but not unique. It was my first time in Toronto and the high reviews brought me here. The first thing I noticed was the place is very small. There was no inside waiting area, so my group along with other guests had a one hour wait outside in the cold on a snowy Sunday. However once inside, we couldn't wait to order hot drinks and a hot, hearty meal. The service was quick and courteous, the staff was friendly and offered good recommendations.
My experience at Bestie Pizza was amazing. The food was so good that I forgot to take photos of most of it. The pasta, beet sliders, and mushroom pizza were all delicious. A cook came and chatted with us before helping us make our decisions. The staff was very friendly, making us feel like old friends. The ambience was great - the restaurant had been recently renovated but had an old-fashioned feel. One of my favorite things was the rubber ball machine where you could pay $15 and receive a random drink, shot, or pitcher of beer. It was a fantastic experience and I can't wait to go back. I also appreciated the fact that the restaurant pays all its employees a living wage, showing how much they care about their staff.
Join us for $5 Happy Hour drinks until 7:00 and enjoy the phenomenal texture of our pizza crust. While it could be softer and thicker, it is still delicious. Our addictive fusilli alfredo is slightly salty but incredibly tasty, and at only $9.50 for an appetizer size, it's a steal. Don't miss out on our delectable sticky toffee pudding for just $4.50. Our restaurant has been beautifully renovated, and we believe in fair wages for our employees, so no tipping is necessary. We can't wait to welcome you back for a full meal. It's hard to believe that such high quality food is offered at such low prices in downtown Toronto, but we are committed to providing great food and service to our customers.
