Been here last week, very friendly staffs, amazing service and best Steak. Pleasant ambience with dimmed lights. Will definitely visit again and recommend this place. View all feedback.
What Delfina Cummings doesn't like about Bâton Rouge:
Stopped in here for lunch and the sandwich was great. Price was fair. Fries were scrawny but tasted ok. Service was slow - even though there were only a handful of other people eating. But I suppose that could be a good thing too - freshly made?! View all feedback.
Attended this restaurant on a Friday eveningThe inside is huge, neat, however pretty empty for a weekend night.
Hats off to this place! Has joined the list of my favourite steakhouses in the city We ordered the rib steak and pork back ribs.

Had dinner here recently and was very impressed by everything and I am not easy to please as you can see from some of my previous reviews. The Old Scott house is a lovely old structure with alot of history and beauty.Upon entering the restaurant the Nutty Reviewer and his better half were greeted quickly and warmly by a nice gentlemen and our request for a seat of our choice was welcomed. Our server was efficient and had the correct balance of being there when we needed him, and to not bother us otherwise or try to entertain us, as some servers do. Some servers need to realize the dining experience is about the client diners not themselves. This did and was a true professional. We started with the Fried Calamari appetizer which was cooked nicely in a light fresh batter, with correct salting - something many restaurants can get wrong. Calamari can easily be cooked incorrectly but here they knew what they were doing and we enjoyed the fruits of the chef's expertise. For the main we had of course the Signature Baton Rouge dish baby back ribs and fries which was served and cooked again to perfection, and to melt in your mouth standards. I could also not get enough of the fries. All in all it was a great evening and meal. Highly recommended. A
