Bapbo offers a mixed experience - from inconsistent servings and service to delicious food and cozy ambience. Dishes like the pork soontofu stew impress, but portion sizes may not justify the price tag. Service can range from attentive to inexperienced. However, employees show genuine care and hospitality, making exceptions and going the extra mile. Rave reviews for tteokbokki cater to various dietary needs. Huge portions and flavorful dishes make for a satisfying dining experience. Despite minor drawbacks, Bapbo shines with its friendly service, tasty dishes like the bibimbap and spicy pork, and overall value for money, providing a great dining experience worth revisiting.

What Kathryn Weimann dislikes about Bapbo:
Ate here at dinner with the family. Apart from the friendly and efficient service, nothing else was memorable. Good "fire crackers" but nothing special in the kimchi while the pork bone ramen was abundant but nothing felt fresh, not the bone with very little meat, not the egg, nor the oily soup View all feedback.

This review is only on the food I ate (too hungry to pay attention to other details). For someone who eats Korean food quite often, I've never tried

The first notable thing is that they were actually open. It was 10:20 pm on a Saturday night, when we showed up after watching a movie at the mall. We were hungry, but almost everything on the street was closed. In fact, we first stopped into another place very close by, who's posted hours said until 10:30, but when we went in they had numerous customers but wouldn't seat us and said take out only. Anyway, there was only one other couple in Bapbo, and when we walked in we were promptly seated and treated nicely by the staff. They seemed in good spirits and were happy to serve us. The place had a nice atmosphere, was clean and modern. The food was tasty, and reasonable portion sizes. Toronto can be expensive for a tourist, but I felt I received good value for what I paid. I will go back again and try more from their menu.

What came out yesterday was one of the employees so friendly when they missed an item in my order by immediately apologising and some additional dumplings/fried shrimps secondary dishes, treats and drinks. The employee even went to writing an apology note <3!! Usually they always get my order right and I’m sure it was so difficult for businesses during the pandemic, please have something empathy for our local businesses during this tumultuous pandemic!!

Pig bone soup is good. I have good heat and they gave 4-5 pieces of meat in the bowl. The taste was solid and comes with 4 supplements and a bowl of rice. Even 5 pieces of pig dumplings were good.
