Azarias is a new, pricey addition to Etobicoke offering fresh and tasty food but loud music. The service is friendly, although sometimes inadequate. Critiques include misplaced reservations, cold food deliveries, and inadequate customer service. However, regulars praise the owner, delicious tapas, and fun vibe. It's the perfect spot for celebrations, proposals, and regular date nights. With great value and quality food, Azarias is a gem despite some hiccups. Whether dining in or doing takeout, the food is consistently impressive with favorites like truffle fries and Montreal smoked meat sliders. Can't wait to return for a complete dining experience.

Was Jonas Krenkel at Azarias a mag?
Perfect spot on Bloor. The owner is a great guy and the food incredible. Been there several times and never a regret. Try the catfish tacos, cod cakes or spicy pork strips. You'll love it all. View all feedback.

What Nikita Thoral dislikes about Azarias:
The service is great, the atmosphere great. But the portions of the foods aren’t worth the price. The quality is also not on par with its cost. The mac and cheese and sliders are definitely not worth $13 and $16. This is definitely more of a place to drink than anything. View all feedback.

I highly recommend this restaurant. Fine dining but also relaxed environment. Giving it a 4 because a few dishes didn't do it for me, personally and comparing to my experience and taste.Pleasant Sommelier, Quey. Great selection of wines. We went with Colognole Chianti Rafina. Very pleasant light wine to go with such flavouful dishes. Our server, was phenomenal, very attentive. Food came so fast. A beautiful olive oil and baguette is served while you chose your dishes and settle in PERFECT. Had 5 appis:Brussel Sprouts 3.5 lacked acidity and roast crunch. But good flavour!Indian Fried chicken sliders 4.5/10Duck Confit Tacos 4/10 could be 5 if add more pickled onion. It's so rich it just needs a tad more acid. Which they happily gave us.The salmon cakes we 3/10Heard from the table next to us that the Kingsway sliders were to die for so we will definitely be back to try more dishes!

After learning my birthday needed to be cancelled due to COVID, I decided to treat myself to a Saturday lunch at Azarias. My server, Hannah, was delightful! She recommended a lovely wine pairing for their heavenly short ribs and engaged in easy, friendly conversation that I ended up enjoying what could have been a rather sad day.The vibe was quiet, the food was exquisite, the service kind and attentive. I’m never disappointed with this local gem.

Great cocktails and lovely mini bites. Would definitely recommend the fish/shrimp

The service was excellent and the atmosphere was great at this restaurant. We tried the shrimp tacos (a bit salty), risotto (a bit too starchy), smoked meat sliders (delicious), and kung pao chicken (too sweet). Despite some minor issues with the dishes, we had a enjoyable evening overall.

At the top of the list are the spicy shrimp tacos ($15), which were a bit disappointing. The shrimp was overly battered and greasy, and the sauce seemed to be just Frank's Red Hot from a bottle. The shrimp itself was large and juicy, but the cabbage and corn filling lacked the fresh salsa promised on the menu. Instead, I recommend trying the Montreal smoked meat sliders ($10) as the number two option. Despite the dense bun, the thickly sliced meat was tender and flavorful, with just the right amount of fat for taste. The dish had a bit of spice and paired well with the mustard, while the pickle wedge added a nice touch. While Azarias' Brussels sprouts ($9) were decent, they suffered from relying too heavily on sun dried tomatoes and bacon, which overpowered the flavor of the sprouts. When done right, Brussels sprouts can be delicious, but this version fell short.
