Neat little restaurant owned and operated by a couple whose background was in high end downtown bistro in Toronto. The food is excellent; fresh, fresh, fresh, all handpicked by the chef/owner. Worth a visit and truly the speciality soup is excellent.

Avec Panache is a culinary delight set in a warm and intimate environment in the Junction. The food was lovingly prepared and presented. Our meals were cooked to perfection and were accompanied by several vegetables served from the grill. Along with the attentive and engaging service the evening was made memorable and confirmed our feeling that Panache is a culinary destination that is not to be missed.

This is the second time I have been to this restaurant. The first was a private party. Its a small restaurant very nicely decorated with art prints and the tables are set in a classical manner white table cloth, chargers etc. The music is pleasant but not overpowering so you can actually speak to ones friends. The chef owner and his wife are a charming and vivacious couple that make you feel at home at once. They pay attention to the details. The (free) water is infused with lemon and strawberries. The home made organic breads with herb butter are delicious. I had the homemade mushroom soup that was wonderfully flavourful and had excellent textures. This was followed by lamb chops. The lamb was succulent and cooked exactly to order (medium rare) and garnished with a wide variety of vegitables. There is a good wine list moderately priced and wines by the glass. The desserts again are homemade. I had a traditional English trifle which had a good range of textures and flavours. The pricing is good for the quality of food and the first rate service. Highly recommended.

We stumbled upon this gem. The atmosphere was cozy and romantic, the service was excellent, and the food was absolutely delicious. We had the escargot and coq au vin, both of which were cooked to perfection. We also enjoyed a bottle of red wine that paired perfectly with our meal. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience and we will definitely be returning in the future. Highly recommend!
