A nice little all-you-can-eat Indian lunch buffet, with an extensive selection of both meat and vegetarian dishes. Service is good, and prices are reasonable at $15 for the lunch buffet. Dinner is only à la carte, no buffet. Parking can fill up quickly during the busy lunch hour. View all feedback.
What Trobees doesn't like about Anjappar Chettinad Restaurant:
Employee treatment is terrible. Only for the duration of training do they hire staff. It will be a six-day shift, and they are unwilling to provide wages during the training period as well. There is one unpleasant supervisor there by the name of Hari, he is very rude, and he gives tips to the staff members according to his preferences rather than on an equal basis. Without giving a reason, they will terminate staff a... View all feedback.
Location is nice, looks good from outside but interior is poor. We order their famous Chicken 65, taste was good but portions was very very less. 6 cubes of chicken around $13. Also their masala dosa that we ordered was very poor in quality. The potato mix was very runny and without any flavours. Staff was good. Considering the inflation and value of money these days, l would suggest to avoid this restaurant and eat something worth your money somewhere else.
Amazing food and service! We asked the server to let us know what are the most popular dishes and he went on to place the whole order on our behalf. We were blown away by how good all the food was and the portions were just right. Totally recomm Nd the chilli chicken and chicken 65. The food was a bit spicy but definitely authentic and full of the Chettinad flavors.
Went in for a late night dinner and found that they were serving non veg meals. Having a large appetite that night, we decided to try it out along with Crab soup and some chicken 65. The crab soup was hot and tasty. The chicken 65 was a smaller amount but made well. The non veg meals all about 6 to 7 kattoris and served with a bowl of rice and chapatti. We were pleasantly surprised at how fresh and tasty it was for a meal at 10pm. If you are a hungry bachelor, go for the meal Thali. It will surely bring your hunger and anger down, haha! The restaurant closed at 11pm and yet they were kind enough to let us spend more time there. Friend staff and quick service. My only negative comment was that the dishes were coming out of order (got chicken 65 before soup) and unevenly so if you are a large group, some people may get their order first while it may take time for others. But hey, that's just a very specific gripe and it's okay to wait a little after all the dishes are budget and saves you a buck! Must try Indian restaurant and a definite recommendation!
As the other location in Brampton the food was good. As usual the high price for South Indian food. Service need to improve as we experienced few mistakes from the staff. But overall good experience.
Went for lunch and the food was delicious. Mutton pepper fry was really good.
