8 Sushi - Toronto
Menu
The menu of 8 Sushi from Toronto contains about 149 different dishes and drinks. On average you pay about CA$7 for a dish / drink.
8 Sushi offers a solid dining experience with a wide variety of Japanese-style food available to order on iPads. While some reviewers recommended sticking to the all-you-can-eat option to avoid long wait times and issues with orders off the regular menu, others praised the handroll selection and grill options. The service received mixed reviews, with some noting it was cold and unfriendly while others found it fast and efficient. Despite the spartan decor and slightly higher prices compared to other AYCE options, most reviewers enjoyed the food and planned to return, making 8 Sushi a strong contender in the Danforth neighborhood sushi scene.

I love everything about 8 sushi!!! My boyfriend and I love doing all you can eat sushi but a lot of places have large portions so we aren't able to get a variety but 8 sushi is PERFECT for small groups who want to do AYCE! They have smaller portions so that you are able to get more items. You also order on an iPad which is fun and has pictures of all the items! Everything is fast and tasty - definitely give this plac... View all feedback.
What Nora Rodriguez dislikes about 8 Sushi:
Grab a seat in this large space and tap your selections on the provided iPad - lots to choose from at this decent competition to a more established AYCE restaurant across the street (I've been loyal to the other place for years but the service is just terrible) Sushi is ok - the best option in my mind is the handroll selection. Otherwise, stick to the grill options / they are plentiful and tasty.Debit accept - lunch... View all feedback.
I frequent this restaurant often as it is conveniently located near my home.
I visited this restaurant for the second time since they first opened and was disappointed to see that the quality has significantly declined.
My boyfriend and I frequently visit this restaurant for our date nights. We absolutely love it and it has been our go-to sushi spot for over two years. While it can be a bit expensive, we highly recommend trying the All You Can Eat option. At around $30 per person, we always feel like we get our money's worth and more.
They have good varieties, the restaurant is clean and fresh looking. Service is so cold and unfriendly.. they treat you as if your going to ear for free..they should work on that! Sushi is good, mango icecream is a total waste of calories.
Came by around 10pm Fri Apr 28 with my husband. This is our second time here. Received the fried items first. Ordered sushi rolls that came in a platter all at once 40mins later. Was told it was last call so we ordered pad thai...More
