One of the best local spots in the city! I get so excited whenever a band I like performs here. I've definitely been here at least 15 times.
My sister-in-law and I had a fantastic time last night at Hard Luck while watching a performance! All the staff were extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful. The atmosphere at the event was wonderful. Just a heads up, they only accept cash.
The staff at this restaurant are very laid-back and accommodating. They allowed a friend to charge her phone while waiting in line and kept it safe until the doors opened. They provide complimentary water bottles at the front of the stage and offer earplugs for just $2 each. There’s also a $4 coat check service available. Additionally, they serve free cups of tap water at the bar, so you won’t have to pay the inflated prices for water at events. The inside atmosphere is cozy and intimate, which means even if you're sitting in the back, you'll still be close to the performer. Plus, it's conveniently located near a McDonald's, perfect for grabbing a bite to eat after the concerts.
Not the best place to see a band in Toronto, not the worst(not sure I found worse yet) the first time that came to this bar in a snow...
