While some guests were disappointed with slow service and mistakes in their orders, others raved about the friendly staff and excellent drinks. Overall, the atmosphere is fresh and clean, prices are reasonable, and the food is flavorful and satisfying. Despite a few hiccups, many customers would gladly return to this Toronto hotspot for another meal.
Great place to taste a good Mexican food. I tested various tacos. all were delicious. the buzzing and steak were excellent. drinks were oversized and well prepared. service was friendly. the prices were very moderate and a well maintained place.
The waiter wasn't friendly at all. he seemed harassed by everything. the table was also not sanitary when they sat us. the portions are small but very expensive. the drinks are also small and expensive. I asked that the terrace heating was switched on and nobody ever came and they hadn't knife enough and so I had to eat the short ribs with my fingers. then they were all out of huh at 19:30 clock, so there were no options for huh. it was not a big experience for the money we paid. will not return.
I grew up near mexiko. this is the first Mexican place where I was in canada that can transport it to mexiko.
The college location of la carnita is a mixed bag that tacos are delicious, really among the best in the city. but almost every other aspekt des ortes cannot be lived up to the standard of its tacos. (including the other food items, which are generally good. the prices are very high for what is otherwise a very unfancy/fairly rundown location. it is not a bad looking place to think: hip diffraction...with lounge prices. it will be very loud most night I was. how, really very WE’RE shouting a bit loud. wochen nach 8 uhr. well, I hope they have a loud voice. service is generally friendly, but in the usually inattentive. If you need something and don't want to wait for 30 40 minutes, they probably need to find their server (or mark a server down and ask them to find their server) at our latest visit they did not bring all our foods. and only noticed when we pointed out that we have received a bill with items that we have never received. (our server really apologised and removed the articles from the bill. they were also made of mushrooms, margaritas and some desserts around 19 o'clock, which was a scandal on a Saturday night. all in all. pricey. delicious. really tipping’ loud. —————————— follow me on instagram.
OK. So i kind of regretted immediately since it was busy and unbelievably loud. I dont think I have ever been in a restaurant where i could not hear the person across from me and had to repeat to the server everything. Take earplugs next...time. And the food... well the menu looks interesting enough so we tried the tacos (soft shell) and for the price they are tiny. I mean really tiny. $6 each for something the size of your palm. So maybe the win here will be the taste but nope. that was average, bordering on flavourless for chicken and pork ones. paid and got the hell out of there. service was fine. everything else? nope. hope i havent gotten permanent hearing loss.
