Although the barista I had spoken with during my last visit wasn’t there, I learned she still worked there. Instead, I had the chance to talk with Saverio, the owner of Si Espresso Bar. He shared that their roasted coffee beans arrive weekly from Rufino Espresso, and many of the baked goods available at the café are homemade by his mother and girlfriend, including cakes and Italian cookies! I thought this personal touch really added to the café’s charm. The café plays only vinyl music, as the owner enjoys its sound, and there’s even a guitar available for anyone who feels like playing while they relax. Additionally, to celebrate the community's support, they host a party every three months. While there are no stamp cards for loyalty, the café does keep track of its regular customers' birthdays, which I found to be a lovely gesture!
