Situated in the Plaza just outside Turin Cathedral, this was an ideal place to have lunch. One can sit outside or indoors. They were good vegetarian choices, and service was prompt and friendly.
Although we had to wait some time to order because the venue was a bit understaffed during rush hour, we had a great experience. The waitress was very nice, the food was delicious and prices were reasonable. A very rich pasta menu with a lot of vegetarian options. Even seafood dishes are great!!
Popped in here on spec. No research. But it was pretty busy, as we passed by. Tasty bruschetta to start for both of us. I had the bucatini a l'amatriciana which was very nice. My dining companion had the linguine a la vongole which was also a good portion and tasty, I was informed. Arneis and Nebollio to wash it down. The red was served chilled, which I hadn't encountered before. Service was efficient and friendly. Good value. Its ranking on TA does not do it justice. We both agreed that we would return.
Situated in a nice triangle piazza with other eateries we opted for Pan Cafe. We started with fresh cheese three ways and tuna appetizer. Entrees Roast chicken and potatoes and pasta bolognese. The wine and beer were refreshing after site seeing all morning.
We were her before some five years ago and decided to return. They have an outdoor seating area, overlooking the square in front and the local street life. Food is good, they serve pizzas, pastas, salads, fish and meat dished. Prices are affordable, which make the value for money pretty good. Service is friendly.
