A fantastic place for really great pasta and other local Piedmontese dishes. Unpretentious and reasonably priced, this very small restaurant (perhaps 7-10 tables) is near the royal palace and most areas of historic Turin, so ideal for a bite after or before exploring this gorgeous city and region which has given Italy some of its best food. We stopped here for a small breakfast on our way to the Egyptian Museum. The pro’s: great location, with a few tables outside, English being spoken, tasty coffee. We wanted a more filling breakfast and the lady who served us offered to make a sandwich which was very tasty. Con’s: the croissants on the other hand were stale, certainly a day old.
