Lizzys - Torfaen

I went to a restaurant for breakfast and was greeted by a woman who left abruptly, claiming she needed to use the restroom. Another woman who is new couldn't cook, so I was told there would be a 10-minute wait. I noticed another employee taking a smoke break before using the restroom, all of this happening at 1 o'clock in the afternoon. Three more customers arrived and were informed of the wait time, which they were willing to accept. However, I only had half an hour so I decided to leave due to the poor service. I had been a regular customer but have no plans to return to this establishment.

Lizzys Cafe and the burger van are both popular dining options in Cwmbran. The portion sizes and prices at the cafe are excellent, especially the delicious homemade chips. Thursdays tend to be very busy, so it's recommended to call ahead if you plan on ordering takeout. The monster breakfast at the cafe is particularly impressive, making it the top choice for dining in Cwmbran. Additionally, the cafe is locally owned by a family.

We have dined in and also gotten a breakfast to-go from this restaurant, and both experiences were excellent. The food is cooked fresh right in front of you, tastes delicious, and we highly recommend it.

When you visit Lizzys in Cwmbran you are assured of a great welcome. The staff are lively, fun and get a cold Welsh morning off to a warm start. Hearty breakfast food, hot coffee and efficient service. Keeping it real and I thoroughly recommend a visit.

We have been getting food from Lizzy's for the best part of 10years!!! Staff are lovely and the food is amazing!! We travel from top end of Pontypool at least once a week just for a Lizzie's breakfast!!!
