The Cumberland sausages were not authe... read more We were greeted with a friendly welcome, but the table was sticky. We asked for it to be cleaned, but it remained sticky. The Cumberland sausages were not authentic and the mashed potato was dry and tasted like heavy, inedible powder. The peas were hard and lacking in flavor. The gammon and pineapple were cooked on a dirty grill with burnt bits and black juice. Despite requesting the egg to be cooked hard and solid, it was not done correctly. The chips were the only highlight, being excellent and tasty. Overall, we were very disappointed with the food. The server continuously apologized for the unsatisfactory meal.

Food is a decent amount, the correct portion size for an adult.Drinks kept flowing well and was asked a few times if everything was okay. Prices are reasonable for again a chain pub. Great service and most enjoyable here.We will be back soon!Thank you
