They couldn't do enough t... read more It was our daughters surprise 30th birthday and our first time at Cwrt Henllys. The owners, Tracey and Steve, were absolutely amazing! They couldn't do enough to help us with setting up and helping to make the evening successful! The place itself was outstanding, decorated beautifully and the food was fantastic, delicious and all home cooked by Tracey herself! Thank you Tracey and Steve for a wonderful evening! We would definitely recommend Cwrt Henllys!

When I call... read more I booked a table for 12 people for a special anniversary meal however my mum became ill so I cancelled the booking at 7 the night previous to going. When I called to cancel she said you’re not even in the book I said ok good thing we are not coming then. Then today the day we were supposed to come I had the landlady phone me up giving me abuse as she said I didn’t cancel. I tried explaining that I spoke to a girl the previous night and she called me a liar and started swearing at me. I was so shocked I just put the phone down. Never ever will I step foot in this place again and I will be telling everyone I know how bad I was treated. Absolutely disgusting way for anyone to behave but to come from the person who runs it is unbelievable.

I sent... read more We as a family went out for my father's birthday at the cwrt Henllys. Well what a let down. I ordered a 10oz serloin medium rare. It came out as medium. I sent it back as I ordered a medium rare. They happily took it away to replace. The replacement came out and not only was is once cooked medium but it was not even a sirloin.i refused to accept and sent it back saying it's ok I will not have anything. I would have left it there but two things have prompted me to post this. again 1st if they didn't have any serloin stakes left it would have been nice to have had the option to been offered something different. 2nd the owner came over and said she agreed that the first steak was over cooked but the second stake was boarder line and she would not charge me for them. What the f#*k. First steak was over cooked and the second wasn't even a sirloin and over cooked again. I should also be grateful that I'm not being charged for what I didn't order. My advice don't go to the cwrt Henllys if you want steak.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Sunday carvery and, based on the number of people also eating there while we were there, everyone else did too. Recommend you book and do it soon excellent value for money.

Overall a nice place to visit for a drink and very friendly staff
