The flounder was quite good. However, the shrimp and grits could use some improvement; the chef should work on that dish. Additionally, the sausage pieces should have been diced. Overall, it felt like the dish was lacking in spices and other essential ingredients.
We thoroughly enjoyed the flounder, oysters, and shrimp, all cooked to perfection! I usually don't eat French fries, but in my 60 years of enjoying them, I've never encountered fries as perfect as these. They were crispy on the outside, with an incredible flavor and a fluffy texture on the inside.
The food is decent, but the restaurant shows little concern for your COVID-19 safety. They are seating more than 50% of capacity, and the 6-foot spacing is not being observed. The manager at the cash register isn't wearing a mask. When I questioned him about risking his customers' safety and violating CDC guidelines and North Carolina regulations, he responded that he simply didn't want to wear one. This establishment seems more focused on making money than on protecting customers from COVID-19. Their blatant disregard for North Carolina regulations and CDC recommendations is inexcusable.
