Absolutely fantastic food! For my dining experience, I went for lunch and it was worth every penny at around $10–20 per person. The food was outstanding—definitely a 5 out of 5. The service was also impeccable, earning a perfect rating of 5. The atmosphere of the restaurant was delightful, making it a 5 as well. Highly recommend! View all feedback.
What Steve P doesn't like about Bamboo Thai:
I've dined at this restaurant once before, and my experience was fine, but I've attempted to visit several times during their advertised hours and found them closed. If they ever decide to stick to their schedule and open up again, I might reconsider my rating. However, to earn more than 2 stars, they really need to be open when they say they will be. The only decent Asian restaurant in the city. when I was here a few days ago, I originally wanted to stop vietnamese pho by another outfit on the other side of the building. luck for bt, this place was closed (even if it has open hours). at the first visit I order mixed vegetables with huh and larb at the second visit. the mix was in order. can't complain about it. eat a lot on the teller. had to get Doggy bags because many left. the larb was a disappointment. I ordered the bark version of larb and like the meat chopped or cut, but the meat was grounded (not original). I had no choice of bitter vs mad nor choice of sticky rice (the traditional rice that goes with it). I get old and don't want to eat hot anymore, so I order mildly and there was no pfeffer on it. I owe it. if they don't have larb, it doesn't matter if they have, then they will understand why I give this rating a 3 stars.
Absolutely worth the drive from Yakima just for this place, if I lived nearby I'd been thanking whoever I need to thank for this easily accessible experience.
The food here is delicious and the service was phenomenal. I definitely recommend the pad Thai and the pineapple rice. They were very accommodating to the vegan diet. I will be coming again!! :
Excellent panang curry and the most flavorful thai iced tea ever.
This food here is awesome! And the owner is such a sweet lady, she never disappoints. We used to visit in Yakima and now she’s in Toppenish, but we continue to go. The Pahd Prik Khing is amazing, I like it with tofu and medium spice: the veggie rolls are great, and any fried rice or veggie plate I’ve tried has been great too. For something sweet and delicious try the Thai tea and the fried banana with ice cream. My brother and his friend put the whole family onto this restaurant, and I’m so glad they did. I highly recommend!
