Food isnt bad, the fried rice is a little bland, but if you add soy sauce to it, it is good, I think adding an addition of yum yum sauce as a dipping sauce. would be great. It’s priced pretty decently also. It’s definitely better than UMIs in Manhattan (I didn’t find a cockroach in my food like I did UMIs) View all feedback.
What Red Handed doesn't like about Yukis Of Japan:
This place needs a visit from health inspection. Low grade fish. Dirty smelly bathrooms. Just an overall wierd layout for a restaurant. Not somewhere I'd eat again. Presentation is the only reason for 2 stars instead of 1.Oriental express down the street is better. View all feedback.
The night I went they seemed short staffed. There was one woman (either a hostess or a trainer/server) running around trying to do multiple jobs and being really obnoxious (having a loud conversation with another worker who was across the restaurant) which really messed with the atmosphere. They also claimed they didn't serve white rice? Which was crazy to me. I think this is the first Asian restaurant I have ever been to that didn't serve white rice (I am Asian myself). It just seemed so odd. Even our server agreed with us that it was strange to not have it. So we opted for fried rice which we were then told, in a very condescending way by the woman I described above, that the fried rice was a part of the hibachi menu and so we would have an even longer wait time. Even though we were literally only asking for rice. Another weird thing is they said they could do fried dumplings but not steamed? Besides that, the sushi was fine. Not an awful experience, but not a good enough one to entice me to come back.
Excellent across the board for me..The Meso soup was awesome and the Imperial and Wikkiki rolls were spot on!! Presentation was an nice extra touchI also got an order of masago and they were great too.
I apologize for forgetting our waiters name, but Aaron was our cook and did GREAT! Waiter was also fantastic and the food was delightful!!
Absolutely delicious and well worth the short wait and cost!
