Chrysdals Restaurant - Toowoomba

For what it is I had to give them a 5 because the service was very polite and excellent and the food very good. It's fairly new and the decor could be better, its not a 5 star restaurant but a 5 for a good attempt.

Last time we stayed at Comfort Inn Glenfield the Restaurant was closed, very disappointing. Extremely happy on this visit Chrysdals Restaurant was open. We eat out most nights while we are in Toowoomba and have never had such an amazing meal. You just can't beat it. Thumbs up guys, well done.

This is without a doubt the best restaurant I have ever eaten in anywhere in the world. Great food, great prices and friendly staff. The pork belly, reef & beef, ribs, lamb shanks and the creme brulee is to die for. Do yourselves a great favour and eat here soon.

I had low expectations when we booked here because as yet I have not had anything extraordinary from a place that is part of a motel. First things to notice is that we were the only ones in there beside one other older lady.The decor was quite pleasant , with a separate bar area, nice table with comfortable chairs. The waitress was very friendly and the service was great. Now for the important bit, the food. I am still baffled why I would come from the Gold Coast to Toowoomba and order seafood??? The oysters Kirkpatrick and natural while not totally terrible , were not as fresh or of the standard I am used to eating. The Seafood Feast meal I had was good but I really could get the exact same fried seafood basket from any fish n chips shop on the coast for half the price and it would definitely be fresher. My mother had to complain about her baked potato that was so dry and overcooked there was hardly any white fluffy potato inside. Like it was Yesterday's re baked in the oven. Judging by the lack of patrons on a saturday night when the motel had no vacancy one can understand that perhaps they might not be getting fresh seafood in daily.Overall not unhappy , next time I would order steak.

I stayed at the hotel on site and decided to have dinner at the restaurant. It was a quiet Monday night. I ordered the ribs and they were delicious, but the portion was a bit too large for me. Overall, it was a really enjoyable meal.
