We had been to the movies and were wandering back to our car discussing the movie. We walked past the Biriyani Hut and the smell of the food was very tantalising so decided to give it a try for lunch. Definitely a good decision - the service was good, the food was great and good value. Recommend you give them try!! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Biriyani Hut:
This is the worst Indian food I've had in Queensland, and it cost $99. My children usually love butter chicken, but they hated it here. All the curries were overly sweet and lacked any real flavor. I really regret not reading the reviews beforehand - very disappointing experience. View all feedback.
Inedible food. So bad that I almost felt compelled to take it back and get a refund. I ordered a vegetable dish with tofu and specifically asked for very little to no onion. No vegetables whatsoever, just an entire dish of ONION and a few bits of crumbled tofu which I had to pick out. Also ordered a lamb rogan josh and could barely see any pieces of lamb. So salty that we had to throw it out. I was quoted a 25 min wait for the 2 take away meals and it was more like an hour...even with a restaurant barely occupied. Avoid this place!!
Run of the mill Australian Indian food. Service was slow, and much of the menu was not available. Overall not very impressed.
Great to grab a quality takeout on a sunday night when the rest of town is dead. Excellent value, authentic taste.
Being vegetarian, we picked up three major dishes and all three were not available! Despite such a busy festival in Toowoomba, the restaurant was empty that shows its unpopularity!
