Have been here a couple of times now and not disappointed. Food is fresh, well prepared, good variety and reasonably priced. We have had a few different items off the menu and they all have been tasty and filling. Will keep going back as long as they are open. Parking is easy and the atmosphere is always pleasant. The waitress is friendly and helpful. Really nice entrees, too View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Jako Japanese & Korean Restaurant:
We dined tonight on Friday night. The entrees and main main courses are of very poor standard not even home made standard. I ordered the okinomiyaku for entree and the sauce was too salty and sour and the mixed vegetables were soggy. My friend ordered...the pork katsudon and was dry. The main course we ordered were spicy pork belly served with stone bowl but they messed up the order and it came out as a normal rice b... View all feedback.

The Korean meals here are always fresh and tasty. The portions are good and the service is fast. We can recommend the meat Bibimbap dishes which come to the table in very hot ceramic bowls and continue to cook while you eat- quite a novelty for our overseas visitors. The pork dishes here are also very good. We paid around $55 for four meals. So gald to have this place in our suburb!
In a simple no fuss friendly style, Jako superbly presents Korean and Japanese food that is fresh, delicious, and good value for money. All the Japanese and Korean favourites are on the menu in equal measure. Traditional foods presented with a touch of modern style without being miserly on portion size. For us it is worth driving in from the Centenary Suburbs, located as it is just off Milton Road in Toowong.
Greatest food I have found. Really, it is delicious, the staff are lovely, the price is right. This is everything it should be and I am off there again in about half an hour. :)
