I love chow mein and since the sun lok yuen closed I haven't been able to find a dish that was just what I crave. Chef Mandarin has the delicious chow mein that satisfied that craving. Yum! View all feedback.
What Angela Valdez doesn't like about Chef Mandarin:
Ordered off door dash and I got the General Tso?s Chicken and paid extra for the Lo Mein and this is how much Lo Mein I got to go with the chicken. Like they expect me to eat all that chicken with that small amount of lo Mein? Will be going to HunanVillage now to go get more lo Mein to be able to eat my meal smh View all feedback.
It wasn?t the worst, but definitely not as good as the reviews. It was hot inside the restaurant ???????? The bbq pork was literally bbq. I guess in all the Chinese restaurants I?ve been to it?s always been the pork with the delicious red sauce, so iwas really bummed. The teriyaki chicken was not good. The sweet and sour chicken was not combined so that was odd and the saucewasn?t great. I had high hopes but the food was not good and we spent $60 (that we hardly ate). I will say the employees werefriendly though.
We were down checking out new trucks and needed a place to get a bite. Turned out this was what we wanted. We loved the pot stickers, lo mein was great and the sushi had lots of flavor. It was a cozy and fun place to grab a bite. The server was awesomeand very helpful.
Had to give 1 star because it didn't have any minus stars.Did take out. Got home and realized the we didn't receive all of our food. Called them up to let them know and they told us to come back up with all the food. When we arrived they literally went through all the food and touch everything. At that point we asked for a refund. They made us pay for the dumplings. Will never go back. The place looks like it's going out of business. No apologies no nothing after we drove back to the restaurant. Didn't appreciate the fact that they thought the we were trying to scam them for free food. The place is such a dump. Will never go back or suggest anyone to order from this place.
The meals were excellent with perfect flavor. Best chicken fried rice I've ever tasted. Reminded me of the cooking growing up.Kid-friendliness: Staff was super friendly to my kids and serves them well.
Food was hot and fresh! We got the cashew chicken and chicken with fresh vegetable upgraded to lo mein. The reason for 4 starts is because of the prices and portion sizes. Most of the dinner entrees are $12-$14 and the lo mein upgrade was an additional $2. For that price I would expect to have huge portions but instead we got by-far the smallest portions I’ve ever seen at a Chinese restaurant. We’ll probably skip it next time, just can’t afford to spend $35 for 2 people.
