Bamboo Chinese Kitchen - Tonopah

This small town Chinese kitchen has better food than I expected! The only real negative was the cigarette smoke from the casino in the restaurant. Don’t eat here if you are sensitive to cigarette smoke. Hot Sour Soup is excellent as was the rest of the meal. This restaurant is located inside a casino which was Smokey. The casino’s smoke eaters were not keeping up. Ordered Chicken Pad Thai and not sure what I got, but it was NOT Pad Thai. It was a gelatinous mass of noodles that were over cooked and some kind of brown sauce (not peanut sauce). Couldn 't even eat it. This restaurant is inside a small casino so EVERYTHING smelled like stale cigarettes. We had taken our order to go because you couldn 't breathe in the restaurant. Should have looked at the food before we left. Argh.... I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant! Keep in mind that it’s an older establishment located within an even older Nevada casino, so the ambiance shows its age. However, the food was delicious and served fairly quickly, even though it seemed like the server taking our order was managing both tasks on his own that day. We will definitely be returning soon, as we pass through Tonopah frequently.
