Stayed in Caramulo overnight 27th June. tried to go for dinner. Apparently they only do lunch, may be they will do dinners in August. Aside from that the owner and wife were really nice, friendly people the cafe is very clean.

We were staying just up the road from here and made many a visit. Admittedly we didn't eat much, but had more than a few coffees. The staff were really friendly and child friendly. Bargain prices too.

If you go to Caramulo to visit the museum, that is the place to eat. They have very good fish and meat dishes. It is a very simple restaurant but the food is great. You must try the octopus.
