The special fried rice was wonderful, and the sweet and tangy chicken dishes were delicious. The ginger and spring onion chicken had a good flavor, but there were too many bones which made it difficult to eat. The crispy duck, while tasty, would have been better if it was shredded before being cooked as it was quite tough. Overall, it was an excellent Chinese takeaway, but some dishes had room for improvement. View all feedback.
What Jenny Holmes doesn't like about The Happy Gardens:
AVOID AVOID AVOID!! Awful! Rude customer service, snatched money from my hand told me 30 mins I arrived 40 mins and was told I was early and to “go sit down” the shop had dirty floors saw into the kitchen and things had just been towered up and just overall disgraceful!! The food I did get was sloppy, tasted reheated. Shall never return! AVOID!! Service: Take out View all feedback.

The food quality at this restaurant is consistently good. While it may be a bit pricey, you definitely get what you pay for. I have never had a bad meal here.
The food at this restaurant is delicious. The portion sizes are decent and the quality is consistently good. As pesketarians, we appreciate the nice choices available. The Szechuan style king prawns are particularly delicious. I highly recommend this takeaway, it is definitely worth the trip.
This restaurant is often overlooked, but it's a favorite of mine. You won't know until you give it a try.
The food at this restaurant was all microwave-heated, overly hot, and everything was soggy and stale. It is disappointing to have returned after some time away only to find that the quality had not improved.
